The La Fleur
Recently redesigned, the La Fleur is an accolade to the trends set forth by Louis XIV during the height of the Renaissance. The vision for this design became almost an obsession for Master Craftsman Dwight T. Porter. He spent hour after hour carving each rose and leaf detail to to perfection in his studio and even late into the night at home at his kitchen table. The result is exquisite carving, rich scrollwork, and bountiful harvest motifs. The round cabriole leg and adorning floral pattern can be attributed to the “Buhl” style developed in the 1600’s by Andre Boulle.
